This is one of the prettiest Rookwood Iris Glaze vases I've had in a long time. Besides the fantastic raised-slip artwork of parrot tulips, the vase is almost completely uncrazed. (There is very minor crazing in one flower.) This superior vase was decorated by Lenore Asbury in 1909. Nice size at 8¾" tall. Mint, unrestored condition.

Great color and painting on this pretty vase by Olga Geneva Reed, 1902, 6¾".  Fine, even crazing overall.  Mint condition.

Is this Rookwood vase killer, or what? The decoration by Anna Marie Valentien is fabulous, with some incised work. To top it off the glaze is Sea Green. When do you see that rare combination? Signed and dated 1898. Nice size at 9" tall. Mint condition with tight even crazing.

This is a late vase, but nonetheless, quite superb.  It's totally uncrazed and shows that E.T. Hurley was still at the top of his game.  Great art work!  Dated 1945, 7½" tall, mint condition.

Overall clematis decoration on this finely painted vase by Lenore Asbury, dated 1926, and impressively big at 14".  Almost uncrazed, with very little, nearly invisible crazing in the lower half.  Signed.  Mint condition.

Rookwood produced many scenic vases, but seldom with winter subjects. This example, painted by Ed Diers in 1924, is truly outstanding. You can see that Diers was at the height of his ability. It's a nice, big size at 11", just right for a cabinet. Signed. Mint condition.
