ICART ETCHINGS LISTED ALPHABETICALLY

The Louis Icart etchings in the following list are all guaranteed to be original and hand-signed by the artist. Each will be accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity similar to the following:

The etchings in the list are arranged alphabetically by title. Most of them have the windmill blindstamp in the lower left. As this stamp was created in mid-1926, earlier etchings cannot possibly have this stamp. Some etchings produced after 1926 do not have a blindstamp. It is usually assumed that these were made for sale in France and not for export.

A brief description of the condition of each etching is included in the table under "Remarks". You may assume that "unframed" means that the etching has been removed from the original frame and put through a conservation process that restores the etching to its original excellent condition. These etchings have at least 1½" margins, good color and detail, and no damage or repair. If you wish more specific information, please contact me directly. The references are from "Louis Icart - The Complete Etchings" by Holland, Catania, and Isen. Shipping is available worldwide at additional cost.

In addition to Louis Icart, I maintain a small inventory of etchings by Maurice Milliere. He was a contemporary of Icart and did beautiful work. He is not as well known as Icart and therefore his works can be obtained for less. Click on this Milliere link to see photos with descriptions and prices of the etchings that I have available at the moment.

I also have original oil paintings by Louis Icart for sale. Click on this Icart paintings link to take you right there.
