Tiffany Studios occasionally worked together with Grueby Pottery to create lovely Arts & Crafts lamps. This 16" diameter Bellflower works beautifully with the base, which has a very fine, deep green glaze, and sculpted leaves at the top. The color in the bellflowers is especially nice. Excellent condition, except for a few hairlines in the shade. Signed both shade and base. 20½" tall.
16" diameter Belted Dogwood. I just got this great bunch of lamps, one better than another. The colors in this Belted Dogwood are so pleasant and unusual. The flowers are amber with strong mottling and with yellow or orange centers. The background is beautifully shaded from lemon yellow with touches of salmon in the mottling to a brighter yellow at the bottom. The base is an important library base with a nice brown patina. All in all, a beautiful package in very fine condition. The shade is almost mint with what appears to be two tiles in the background with lines. Signed base and shade.
This is such a beautiful lamp, with many gorgeous yellow Black-Eyed Susan flowers, with deep brown centers, over the entire shade. The shade is in fantastic original condition, with very few hairline cracks. It is properly signed on the inside lower rim.
The base is a spectacular, very heavy, library base with a number "10" patina to knock your socks off. The electrical sockets are all original. The base has been professionally rewired, so just plug it in and enjoy it. It is properly signed underneath.
All in all, this is a great example at a very fair price. I don't expect to have this lamp very long, so if you're interested, I suggest you inquire quickly.
This fine 16" diameter lamp is a moderately rare variation of the Colonial model, pictured in Tiffany Lamps & Metalware by Alistair Duncan on page 178, figure 707. The background glass is pastel green; the narrow geometric bands and "dragonfly wings" have more yellow; and all the intersections have white opalescent glass jewels. The condition is very good, with scattered heat cracks (some pictured in photo 4). It is signed on the interior lower rim TIFFANY STUDIOS NEW YORK 1595. The leadwork is finished in an original, beautiful patina.
The base is referred to as an Art Nouveau stick base. It has three original sockets and is finished in an original gold doré, with normal wear.
This is a great lamp for a beginner or a decorator. The price is very reasonable.
The selection of glass is what differentiates one Tiffany lamp from another of the same model. This gorgeous 16" diameter Crocus lamp has very special mottled glass. It's dash-numbered 9, indicating it was part of a limited run of lamps, usually 10 or fewer, where the glass was carefully chosen. Add a wonderful ribbed library base with a fabulous original patina and you've got a superb lamp. Signed and numbered on both the shade and base. Very few, if any, hairline cracks. No restoration. Very fairly priced.
Over the years, I've sold many examples of Tiffany Studios Daffodil lamps. This is one of the better ones, with excellent color, fine condition and very few cracked tiles. Beautiful library base with mock turtleback decoration and an excellent patina. 16" diameter x 21½" tall. Signed base and shade.
I've owned Tiffany Studios 16" diameter Belted Dogwood table lamps many times before, but this one is special because of the great color and fiery red-orange mottling. With this great library base, and a rich, original patina, and you have one fine package. Signed base and shade very few, if any hairline cracks. It's a great lamp.
Tiffany 16" diameter Greek Key table lamps are not rare, but this example is. It's got the most wonderful blue-gray, heavily mottled glass in the background and beautiful gold glass in the Greek Key border.
The lamp is in outstanding original condition, with a fabulous library base. It has a great patina and all the original electrical sockets.
It's the best Greek Key lamp I've ever had.
More photos to follow. I hope to capture the authentic colors. This photo is not accurate.
The Pansy pattern is one of the prettiest 16" diameter Tiffany Studios designs. This particular example has a very diverse selection of Tiffany glass, making it very special. There are gorgeous mottled flowers in varying colors. The shades rests on a rare inverted mushroom base with a rich, original patina. The shade and base are properly signed and the condition is exemplary with very few, if any hairline cracks.
Tiffany Studios 16" Pansy table lamps usually have anywhere from good to excellent color. The flowers are what makes the lamp special. Usually they have great color and mottling, as in this example. The base is also super with a rich patina, heavy in green. Great condition with very few hairlines. Signed shade and base.
16" diameter Poinsettia table lamp with beautiful glass and strong red flowers with blue and yellow centers. Very nice mottled, apple green, shaded background. Beautiful mint patina library base. Shade condition excellent with very few cracked tiles and no restoration. Signed base and shade. (#50622)
This example of a 16" diameter Pomegranate table lamp is just what the doctor ordered. It has beautifully mottled yellow-orange pomegranates against a muted gray-green, mottled background. It's a subtle lamp, perfect for most home decors.
The shade is in beautiful condition, with very few hairline cracks. It is properly signed.
The base is called an Art Nouveau stick base. It has a gorgeous original patina. It too is properly signed. All of the electrical sockets are original. The lamp has been professionally rewired.
This lamp is great for almost any decor, including and especially for Arts & Crafts homes.
16" diameter Pomegranate. The Pomegranate decoration is rarer than the more common Acorn decoration. This example has beautiful shaded glass. It's in near mint condition with no restoration. The Art Nouveau stick base has a great original patina. The overall condition of this lamp is a 10. A beautiful lamp to add to or begin a collection. Signed shade and base.
I don't often buy Tiffany Studios Acorn or Pomegranate lamps, but occasionally a special example comes along. This orange Pomegranate is rarer and more desirable than green examples, and rarer than an Acorn. The color is rich and beautifully shaded from darker at the top to lighter at the bottom. The Pomegranates are beautifully mottled in a complementary, soft shade of green. The condition is great, with very few, if any, hairline cracks. The Art Nouveau stick base has a beautiful original patina. The lamp is perfect for any collection, but will look especially nice in an Arts & Crafts setting. 16" diameter. Signed.
Tiffany Studios Pomegranate lamps are not nearly as common as Acorn lamps. This particular example has beautiful color and great mottling. The condition is excellent with very few cracked tiles. Both the shade and base have excellent patina. 16" diameter x 21½" tall. Signed shade and base.
Isn't this a pretty Tiffany Studios 16" Tulip shade? It has gorgeous striated yellow petals against a varied green background with heavy mottling. The base is very attractive, with a rich original patina. It's been converted from kerosene to electricity.
Fabulous shade condition with only one hairline fracture in the entire shade. Signed properly on both the shade and base. Compact size at 18¾" tall.
This lamp has been in our personal collection for the last 7 years. It's only for sale at this time because we needed (and bought) a larger lamp to put in its place. You can imagine that I only kept the best as you can see. The colors in this 16" diameter Tulip are stunning. The condition is great, with very few, if any, hairline cracks. The patina on both the shade and base is wonderful. Properly signed on both the shade and base. 16" diameter x 24" tall. I hate to see it go, but c'est la vie.
16" diameter Tulip. Pretty yellow tulips that vary from lemon yellow striated to deeper yellow mottled against a very attractive blue-grey sky background. Very nice leaves and stems in varying shades of green, some mottled. All in all, a very fine shade.
The lovely base is of Greek Urn design with a very fine green-brown patina. The shade is in very good condition with approximately eight scattered tiles with lines. Signed base and shade.
16" diameter Woodbine decoration. What can I say that you can't see? This is one of the most beautiful Tiffany lamps I've ever had the pleasure of offering for sale. This type of shade is called a "Four Seasons" variety because the colors change as you go around the shade. In this example, the colors of the background change from gorgeous sky blue to purple. The flowers are beautiful earth tones changing from red-orange to burnt sienna, some with great mottling. Some of the flowers appear to twinkle in the light because they are textured on the interior. The leaves are done in various shades of green, some with strong mottling. The beautiful library base has a fantastic original patina with strong green tones. Overall the condition of the lamp is superb. There are 5-6 scattered tiles with single lines, perfectly normal for a lamp that's approaching 100 years. It's signed on the base and shade. I promise you this lamp will not last long. Act quickly if it's for you.
I'm thrilled to have this lamp for sale. It's killer. Let's start with the dragonflies themselves. They're great with olive to gold mottled bodies, jeweled eyes! and yellow wings. The background glass is all ripple glass shading from blue to mauve (how great is that!) with green bordering the top and bottom of the shade. The base is fabulous too -- a rare candelabra base with pulled feather Favrile glass inserts. The whole lamp is original with a gold dore finish. It will not last long. It's signed base and shade and in excellent condition.
Tiffany Poppy lamps are very desirable for several reasons. First, the poppy flower is very beautiful and comes in many different colors. Second, the wire mesh used on the interior of the shades gives texture to the leaves and is used to great effect on both Poppy lamps and Dragonfly lamps. The reticulated overlay to the center of the flowers is dramatic.
This particular example has magnificent yellow and orange coloration, with extensive mottling in both the flower petals and the background, including the geometric lower border.
The condition of the shade is wonderful, with no restoration and very few, if any, hairline cracks. It is properly signed on the inside lower rim.
The ribbed library base has an original patina, in excellent condition. The 3-light cluster has original sockets. The base has been professionally rewired. It is properly signed underneath.
All in all, this is one of the prettiest Poppy lamps I've ever owned. It's a no-excuses lamp that deserves to be in your collection.
This is a sweet example of an 18" diameter Belted Dogwood table lamp. By that I mean that the color and condition are just right. The color of the flowers is true to real life as dogwood trees have either white or pink flowers. The flowers all have beautiful yellow centers with carefully arranged petals that form a circle of mottles around it. The petals vary in color from milky white to pinkish. The background is a beautiful apple green color with lots of mottling. It is properly signed TIFFANY STUDIOS NEW YORK 1555.
The base is called an Indian base and is very desirable. It has a superb original patina, with all original electrical sockets and heat cap. It is properly signed. The lamp has been professionally rewired.
The overall height is 24". There are no excuses that need to be made for this lamp. The overall condition is wonderful, with very few hairline cracks in the shade. There is no repair, nor has there ever been any repair to this lamp. It's ready to decorate your home.
Belted Dogwood is a very pleasant Tiffany Studios design. It's much rarer and more desirable in this 18" diameter version than the similar 16" diameter version. The glass has beautiful yellow mottled flowers against a highly mottled apple-green background. As far as I'm concerned, the more mottling, the better. The shade is in excellent original condition, with very few cracked tiles and no restoration. The very good library base has an original, rich green-brown patina. Signed on both the shade and base.
This lamp is just in. It's a beauty and clean as a whistle. The dogwood blossoms are multi-color on a fabulous background, shown in the detail photos available if you click on the thumbnail photo on the left. I'll add more photos in the next few days. The shade is 18" in diameter, so it's larger than the more common 16" version. The patina on both the shade and base is wonderful. This is a really special table lamp, moderately priced. Superb original condition. Signed shade and base.
Oak Leaf & Acorn is a lovely decoration. On finer examples, the leaves and acorns are mottled. This gorgeous example is 18" diameter with really great color and mottling. The base is a killer example called a cushion base. It's similar to a library base, but has no feet. It's solid bronze and really heavy.
The patina is fantastic on both the shade and base and the lamp is fully and properly signed on both. The condition is superb with very few, if any, hairline cracks.
If you're looking for a truly special example of Oak Leaf & Acorn, this is it!
18" diameter Oak Leaf & Acorn decoration. This variation of pattern is rarer than the more common Whirling Leaf or Lemon Leaf patterns. The acorns are added as part of the design. This particular example is in superb condition with no restoration to the shade and a fabulous original patina on the base. Signed shade and base.
Change your tune on this lamp. I just took it out of my personal collection.
It has fabulous, vibrant red poinsettia flowers and green mottled leaves. Each flower has a yellow and green or blue center, all set against a superb amber background with extensive olive mottling. And remember this is an 18" diameter lamp, not the usual 16" example. The condition of the shade is excellent, with approximately 3-4 scattered heat cracks. It is properly signed.
The lovely library base has applied coils and a great original patina. It too is properly signed. The electrical sockets, as well as the heat cap, are all original.
It would still be in our collection if it weren't that we bought another lamp. Now it could be yours.
I've owned several examples of Tiffany Tyler Scroll lamps over the years, but this is one of the best. The burnt orange and green glass is all mixed together to create a really exciting example.
The lamp is in outstanding original condition, including the shade and the base. The patina is wonderfula and the electrical sockets are original.
It's big, dramatic lamp that will go perfectly in your home.
I've owned several examples of Tiffany Studios Tyler Scroll lamps over the years. This one is one of the best because of the fabulous color in the scroll itself, with matching glass in the lower geometric borders. They're both displayed against a stunning green background. The condition and patina on both the base and shade are superb, with very few, if any, hairline cracks. Properly signed on the base and shade. 18" diameter.
I haven't had an example of a Tiffany Studios' Tyler Scroll lamp in several years. This is a particularly nice example, with very good color and an outstanding cushion base. The condition is excellent with very few cracked tiles and no restoration. 18" diameter x 24½" tall. The shade is extra deep, giving the illusion of an even larger lamp. Signed base and shade.
18" diameter Whirling Leaf shade only. Very nice example with good mottling in the leaves. Excellent condition. Signed. If you have a base and need a shade, then this is for you. If you have a base that you would like to sell to me, I am also interested. If you prefer the 18" Lemon Leaf shade above, I can do that too. Then I'll just put this shade on the 4-column cat's paw base.
I've owned several Tiffany Studios 20" diameter Arrowroot table lamps before, but never one this nice. The color is really great, especially with the blue ripple glass border. The base is a fine library example with a gorgeous, rich patina. The condition is excellent with very few hairlines to the shade. Signed shade and base.
I've grown dogwood flowers before. They're always a beautiful shade of white or pink. Tiffany Studios' Belted Dogwood table lamp is true to the flower and gorgeous, with many pastel white and pink flowers. The background glass is apple green with lots of motting. The lamp is big at 20" diameter and 32" tall to the top of the cap. The base is the very desirable Cat's Paw adjustable model with 6 sockets. It can be raised to make it even taller, if desired.
The condition is superb, with very few hairline cracks and no restoration. The patina is fabulous on both the shade and the base. It is properly signed TIFFANY STUDIOS NEW YORK 1491 on the shade and 391 TIFFANY STUDIOS 10941 NEW YORK on the base.
There are no excuses that have to be made for this stunning lamp. It's ready to go into your home at a very fair price. It's just been listed, so I suspect it won't last long, as the Tiffany market is hot.
Tiffany Studios shades in the Colonial pattern are almost always 16" diameter. This rare example is 20" diameter. It has the usual fantastic mottled glass that one often sees in good examples. It's in very good condition with a few hairlines in the shade, and a great original patina on the base. Fully signed.
When people think of Tiffany lamps, Wisteria and Dragonfly are the two models that come to mind first. They're quintessentially Art Nouveau and the epitome of Tiffany Studios lamps.
This particular 20" diameter example is stunning. It has the most beautiful soft blue wings on the dragonflies, with mottled green bodies and red jeweled eyes. The background is a beautiful mottled apple green.
The base is a rare and very desirable Cat's Paw adjustable model, where the height can easily be changed. It has a gorgeous original patina.
Both the shade and the base are properly signed. There are very few hairline cracks in the shade. The height of the lamp is adjustable from 24½" to 31".
Haven't had a Tiffany Dragonfly lamp for sale in quite some time. This one is special. Each of the dragonflies is different, with differently colored bodies and jeweled eyes. Only a small percentage of Tiffany Studios' Dragonfly lamps have this unique feature. The base is the rare and very desirable Twisted Vine. The lamp is all original, right down to the cap and four sockets. There are only a few hairlines in the entire shade that include a couple of the elongated jewels. The gold doré finish is in very good condition, with less than normal wear. 20" diam. x 27" tall. Signed base and shade.
20" diameter Geometric table lamp with heavily mottled green glass. Very nice example. (The white areas in the front of the shade are only glare from the bulbs. The shade is evenly colored and mottled.) Beautiful mint patina Art Nouveau stick base. Shade condition excellent with very few cracked tiles and no restoration. Signed base and shade. (#51211)
Tiffany Studios Linenfold table lamps were made to look like pleated fabric and were originally called Fabrique. They're great lamps that look fabulous with every room setting from 18th Century to Modern. This example has the rarer, rich green color. (They also come in gold.) The condition is fabulous, on a very desirable base with great original patina. The shade is large at 20" diam. Fully signed.
I haven't had many 20" diameter Tiffany Studios Nasturtium table lamps for sale. This example is a beauty, with red and yellow flowers that are textured on the interior, making them very lively. The big oval leaves are varied, with different shades, and different types of glass, including mottled, striated, and streaked. The sky has some very nice blue mottling.
The library base has an outstanding, rich, original patina, making the complete lamp a very desirable unit.
24½" tall x 20" diameter. Signed shade and base. Excellent condition, with very few hairline cracks.
