Monnaie du Pape literally translated means "The Pope's currency", but it's commonly known as the silver dollar plant.  It's a beautiful plant that is rarely seen on Daum vases, as it required extensive gilding of the flowers and rim.  It's also an example of Verrerie Parlante, (Talking Glass) because of the saying on the side, "Monnaie en fleur, Monnaie du coeur", (Money in a flower, money of the heart). The result is a rare, beautiful vase, 3¾" tall x 5½" diameter.  Signed.  Mint condition.
