today the UPS shipment has arrived; it was like receiving a X-Mas present! - it took me a while to unscrew the box and unwrap the vases (which were superbly packaged), of course undamaged!
In real life the vases look even better than on the photos, thanks so much for letting me have them!!
Thank you also for attaching the invoice, made clearing thru customs (done by UPS) very easy….
Thanks again 1000000000000000000000000 times for the magnificent vases, I hope I will be able to sleep tonight

I have admired your original paintings, Louis Icart etchings, and Tiffany lamps and glass for the last four Baltimore shows I attended. I just wonder where you manage to come by these great items. You never fail to impress. You have great stuff, and we are loyal admirers
every year in Baltimore.

Dear Mr. Chasen:
I have been an occasional follower of your blog for the last several years; so impressed with your consistency and reportorial talent that I have sung your praises whenever possible and have referred others in the industry to your blog as a model.
Thank you for your long service to the industry.

Hi! Wonderful site! I "accidentally" found you and I learned more in a few minutes than I have in hours on similar sites! ..... By the way- I really enjoy your blog pages and your obvious professionalism and will try to see you at a show in the future!

|Happy Holidays Philip. Thank you for writing your blog, which I follow weekly. I love your new website and also that you show close up pics of items at your shows. I have only bought 1 item from you but look forward to the next purchase.

I started reading your blog...You are an excellent writer and a really good read...You have just won over another loyal reader...I am happy that we can still do business together...I know you for over 30 years...when you were on 2nd Ave...in the basement...in the back...time flies.

I highly respect your professionalism as an antique dealer, and I have shared your name and homepage with some of our local dealers to show how things are nicely presented. Although I am still an amateur in antiques, I see who is good dealer and who is not, and obviously, you are one of the best that I know in the States even we have not met yet in person..

I am a humble collector of french cameo glass and have been exposed to your vast knowledge on the matter through your blogs, which I often read.

This is probably one of the best sites I have come across. It is easy to use, informative, and gives everyone the ability to research specific objects and find other links.
We used to purchase a lot of antiques: Sothebys and Christies, we have accumulated a nice selection of art, lamps, glass, and African art. This was a good way for me to assess the value of some pieces.
I miss going to the large antique shows in Miami and New York but I relived my past by seeing the pictures and reading your comments.
We are still purchasing antiques, but only from small antique dealers here in the New York vicinity, Ct., and NJ, as well as in Vermont and New Hampshire.
Thank you again, well done.
